Sweet Adelines International crowned Maxx Factor quartet the new Queens of Harmony at the 64th annual Sweet Adelines International Convention and Competition held on Friday, Oct. 22, 2010, in Seattle, Washington. The judges and audience were wowed as Maxx Factor gave a nearly flawless performance, including breathtaking barbershop harmony and witty sidebars throughout the entertainment package.
Maxx Factor members are Molly D. Plummer, Leslie J. Wodday, Kim Hudson and Valerie Hadfield-Rasnake. Maxx Factor recently hosted the Mid Atlantic Harmony Sweepstakes and the National Harmony Sweepstakes. In addition to this exciting opportunity, Maxx Factor also competed on NBC's "the Sing-Off", a reality television singing competition.
First place did not come without hours of practice, coaching and lots of fun in between. Maxx Factor quartet sings and performs at various events throughout the year, including regional events and chapter shows that span the country.
